Tour Plan

1

Half day with the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum

This tour highlights the unique contrasts of Athens, guided by experts.

Begin with a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Pass key landmarks including the Prime Minister’s residence (former Royal Palace), Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament, Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, University, National Library, and Syntagma Square.

At the Acropolis, explore masterpieces of the Golden Age: the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the Parthenon.

End with a visit to the New Acropolis Museum, home to the treasures of classical Greece.
